Alan was previously at Inter-American Development Bank where he was the Coordinator of the Ethics and Development University Network.
Prior to that Alan has an undergraduate degree in Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a Master’s degree from Georgetown University in Communications, Culture and Technology. Alan has lectured at the World Bank, the Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars and Wharton Business School, among other universities.
Alan believes the private sector can play a pivotal role in contributing to both social and economic development and, for this reason, is interested in leveraging companies’ efficiency, capacity and know-how through corporate social responsibility.
